ABOUT
Mark Ferraro
Musician, Singer, Songwriter, Recording & Performing Artist
Between listening to his mom's 45's from the 1950's and his dad's love for Big Band swing and crooners, Mark began his love for music early. As the youngest of four, he had three older siblings who exposed him to their own personal tastes in pop culture.

Throughout childhood, he trained in piano. Mark attended freshman year of high school at Notre Dame in West Haven, CT where he excelled in the music program. He was then accepted to the Educational Center for the Arts (ECA) and was a drummer in the East Haven High School Marching Band.
After an audition with Dick Grove at the age of 18, Mark was in the general music program for a semester at the Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, CA. He excelled in jazz improv, although it was his minor in vocal performance where he fell in love with singing rock and roll. This time in LA began his love for the city and Hollywood would become his second home.

His credits include multiple rock and roll projects as lead singer -- including Lonesome George out of New Haven, CT, Double O.D. based in Huntington Beach, CA, and, most recently, This Time Down, out of West Haven, CT. He contributed lyrics and melodies to each of these talented bands.

Mark has years of experience in recording studios and on stage. He also has experience in the industry. After passing an audition as lead singer, he was part of a development project with a major label award winning producer.

Each of these experiences together have allowed Mark to hone his craft as a singer/songwriter. In between shows, rehearsals, and recordings, he taught himself guitar by ear. "I have no idea what I'm doing, but it's a great way for me to write a song."

Mark is looking forward to releasing new material soon.
